Gerald J. Coyne, Deputy Attorney General
Gerald J. Coyne is the Deputy Attorney General for the State of Rhode Island. Following graduation from law school, Jerry served for five years in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps. For the next six years, he worked as a prosecutor for the Department of Attorney General, concentrating on environmental and organized crime cases. In 1994, he entered private practice, focusing upon civil and criminal litigation. He rejoined the Department of Attorney General as Deputy in January,1999.
