On April 12, 2024, the Washington County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Keith Johnson with one count of first-degree domestic murder, and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.

The alleged acts occurred in the Town of South Kingstown on or about December 13, 2023. The Sout Kingstown Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on April 18, 2024, in Washington County Superior Court.
